WebMay 23, 2024 · I finnally solve it. After I upgrade my gcc to gcc-9. When I type gcc -v , it returns version 9.3.0. But when I type g++ -v, it returns still version 7.5.0. WebIs there any specific reason why has support for designated initializers not been added to g++? Is the reason that C99 standards came late and g++ was developed earlier and later people didn't care about this issue, or there is some inherent difficulty in implementing designated initializers in the grammar of C++?
