WebDec 16, 2010 · Just for the record. A key hole lock with the rod going to the latch could be had pretty easy. A big screw driver stuck in it and smacked 2 or 3 time with a hammer gets it in the lock. WebJul 2, 2011 · I am surprised no one seems to be using actuators vs. the solenoids. Even autoloc sells actuator door poppers. I think nearly 18lbs of pull should trip the latch easily. I used the cheapest regular ones I could find on the last car I built on the factory latch and they work perfect.
